Get EBL Reader Software
In order to read ebooks online and to download ebooks to read offline, you will need to
ensure that you have the correct version of Adobe® Reader®
(view
system requirements)
Before you start:
Firewalls can interfere with Reader installation and activation. You may wish to disable
your firewall temporarily before you begin. You
can view more information on firewalls here. You should also turn-off pop-up
blockers during this process as the extra help and information appears in pop-ups.

Note:
- Adobe Digital Editions is not available in Linux operating systems.
- If you are using Mac OS X and having trouble vewing ebooks online, please install the pdf-plugin.
If you just have downloaded an ebook from EBL and you where redirected to download Adobe Digital Editions. You need to download the ebook again after you have installed the Adobe Digital Editions. Click here for a screen shot of Adobe Digital Editions.
For problems and questions about Adobe Digital Editions, click here In Adobe Digital Editions, read aloud is not included. We recommend you to use Adobe Reader 7.0.8 if you need the read aloud feature.
Requirements for Adobe Reader 8 and Adobe Digital Editions
For Windows, Adobe Digital Editions requires Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (SP2) or Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 (SP4), an 500Mhz or faster Intel Pentium processor, 128MB of RAM, and a monitor with at least 800 x 600 screen resolution.
For the Mac OS on PowerPC, Adobe Digital Editions requires Mac OS X version 10.3.9 (or higher) or 10.4.8 (or higher), a 500MHz or faster PowerPC G4 or G5 processor and 128 MB of RAM.
For the Mac OS on Intel, Adobe Digital Editions requires Mac OS X version 10.4.8 (or higher), a 500MHz or faster processor and 128 MB of RAM.
For Linux, Adobe are still evaluating the Linux version timing for Digital Editions. As there are many different distributions of Linux, your feedback on distribution priorities would be helpful.
Upgrading your current Adobe version
If you have Adobe 6.0.1 installed you need to apply an update.

When you download ebooks to your computer or PDA Adobe will automatically activate.
